I’ve worked as an imagemaker since the 1980s enjoying projects mainly in publishing.

I use Painter, a natural-media application, to replicate watercolor and pastel artwork and then Photoshop to give greater depth, richness and special effects.

This means I can provide an illustration with a traditional feel but work quickly and with great flexibility.

I love working with a narrative, especially illustrating jackets and novels for adults and children. My favorite subject areas are classics, mythology, sci-fi, fantasy and horror.

In fact anything that involves figures in an atmospheric setting!
